Tim’s Platform

Tim’s platform is built around demonstrated practical leadership, listening in a responsive way to residents, and making responsible decisions for Sundridge’s future. His priorities include protecting lake health while promoting lake living and recreation, improving shared services, supporting parks and recreation, encouraging sensible new initiatives, and working toward sustainable housing solutions for the Almaguin area.

Tim also understands the pressure rising taxes place on residents, especially seniors and those on fixed incomes. With strong municipal, business, and community experience, his focus is on fiscal responsibility, effective local services, and long-term planning that grows the tax base rather than simply increasing taxes.

Why Vote For Tim

Tim Bryson was born and raised in Sundridge, took his very first job at the Village Bins 32 years ago, built his business here, and raised his family here. He identifies with the community, knows the people involved in local and regional services, and understands the challenges that come with sharing many of the services that support the community.

With eight years of experience as a municipal mayor, first in Joly Township and then in Strong Township, Tim has years of experience serving the community and working within local government. He has served on or chaired committees responsible for planning, fire services, recreation, economic development, roads, health care, and regional economic development.

That experience means Tim already knows the people, the systems, and where the issues are at, allowing him to hit the ground running.

Tim believes good municipal government starts with listening, returning with the facts, and using those facts to support evidence-informed policy development, with implementation as the key to getting results.
